I am currently working on a solid English Oak hymn book trolly, which will be for the Lord Mayors Chapel on College Green Bristol. It is a fantastic opportunity and an interesting project.
I am also working with some wood reclaimed from the old dock gates at the floating harbour to make some seating to celebrate the harbour's history.

We were looking for an individual, bespoke piece of furniture and were impressed by items of Jim's work displayed on his website. We contacted him and discussed our requirements with him and, satisfied that he could meet our requirements, we asked him to build us a piece of furniture. Throughout the construction process, Jim kept us fully updated on progress. On completion, Jim personally delivered the furniture and undertook the final construction on site. Inspecting Jim's work at this stage it was obvious it was all we had hoped; it is a beautiful piece of furniture and Jim's standard of work is exceptionally high; the wood selection was especially well considered. Considering the difficulties of purchasing any handcrafted work via photographs on a web-page and by telephone and e-mail correspondence, Jim did us proud. I would have no hesitation, whatsoever, in recommending Jim to any potential customer.
