Alfred Telling Award Winner

The Guild of Guardians presented me with the Alfred Telling award in June 2008. This is a bursary to an entrepreneur starting their own business in a manual trade.
This picture, above, is of me receiving the award from The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Christopher Davies.

Our bed is made by Jiim Sharples - We had an idea for the bed we wanted (simple, classic bed design) and contacted Jim Sharples, he sketched our designs, made sure they were perfect and measured, gave us a good quote and made it for us from reclaimed English Oak. It is perfect, very comfatable, solid and will last us into old age, Thank you.
