Hi, We are Johanna and Jim!
We design and make bespoke fitted furniture from our workshop in Bristol.
From one-off wardrobes to entire kitchens, everything we build is carefully designed for the space, made by hand, and built to last. We work closely with you from the first chat through to installation, and we don’t cut corners — ever.
We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, and we still get excited about every project. Whether it’s a clever storage solution or a whole-room transformation, we care about getting the details right and making something that genuinely improves how your home works.

Johanna
Johanna keeps everything running smoothly for your furniture project. From your first message to the finished piece, she’s your main contact, making sure you’re always kept in the loop. You’ll usually find her designing in in the 3d software SketchUp, answering emails, or checking the final details before installation. She even takes the photos of our finished work for the website.
Johanna’s deep-rooted understanding of interiors, inherited from a family background in design and craftsmanship, ensures a holistic approach to your furniture project, making things clear and easy for clients. She’s calm and organised, always thinking about how to make your experience with us as straightforward as possible
Jim
As the lead for all making and installation, Jim makes sure every piece of your bespoke furniture is crafted and fitted just right. He’s been making furniture since studying woodwork at City of Bristol College 23 years ago, and you’ll see his skill in every little detail.
Jim’s known for being really thorough and particular. This means whether you’re getting a bespoke dining table or fitted cupboards, your project will be done with great care and precision. Clients often tell us how neat and tidy he is when he’s working on site. This shows how dedicated he is to getting things absolutely perfect.
He’s worked on some big projects, like the huge lockgate benches on Bristol’s harbourside, as well as many other custom pieces, so you can trust him to bring your furniture ideas to life beautifully.
It was a pleasure working with Jim and Jo from start to finish, and we couldn’t be happier with our kitchen which is beyond what we imagined it would be.

Every piece we make is designed from scratch, built with care, and fitted by us. We’ve tested plenty of materials, runners, hinges and finishes over the years, so we know what lasts, what feels good to use, and what’s worth the extra effort. Our furniture isn’t just about how it looks – it’s about how well it works, every day.
We’re tidy, thoughtful, and easy to work with. Whether you’re after a single wardrobe or a whole kitchen, you’ll be looked after properly from first chat to final fit. And if you’ve got an architect, interior designer, or other trades involved that is no problem, we’re used to working as part of a bigger team.
We use good quality, sustainable materials wherever possible, reuse our offcuts, and power our workshop with green energy.
