It’s hard to do justice to the incredible work of Jim in just a few words all I can say is that it was a pleasure working with Jim and Jo from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier with our kitchen which is beyond what we imagined it would be. From the very first call to the final fit the customer service was exemplary. We had a broad idea of what we wanted our kitchen to be but Jim and his team worked so hard to make sure the design and layout worked exactly as we needed it to. The build was complicated by covid and external factors taking longer than expected but Jim was so accommodating and understanding. He even worked extra hard to get us a functional kitchen in time for Christmas. His craftsmanship is second to none with every tradesperson commenting on the quality of the cabinetry. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. My only advice is to get him in early in your project as his design advice was invaluable. Thanks Jim & Jo!

Jim and Jo have just completed a hallway storage cabinet for us, the finished result is absolutely stunning. I can’t believe how excited I am to start putting this piece of furniture to use, I’m sure it will transform our storage issues and looks beautiful to boot. From the start Jo and Jim were very responsive and hit all the target dates they set. The furniture was built in their workshop so their time on site was minimal but it was a pleasure to have Jim around in any case, he was very tidy and left everything clean once the job was complete. Would Certainly recommend and use again.

Jim came out with his mobile sawmill to help turn a 150 year old oak beam into shelves. We’d had to replace the beam during some house renovations but wanted to make use of the wood and retain some of our home’s history. Jim understood completely and took the time to listen and understand to what we needed. It was a risk without knowing the quality of the wood inside but we’ve ended up with four traditional shelves that will look great in our kitchen. I’d highly recommend Jim and would love to be able to get him back for other furniture making. Thank you 🙂

I can’t recommend Jim highly enough! I took on a complete refurb of a 1920s house 2 years ago. Jim made my kitchen, helping me with the design and layout, and all the time listening to what I needed for my own particular needs and my budget. He worked with the constraints of the space, always paying attention to detail, and the end result was beyond brilliant! Jim then made a fitted bookcase and a set of alcove cupboards and shelves with beautiful, carefully chosen oak – and everyone notices and comments on them. They are amazing!

Jim and Jo impressed us right from the start of the design process, offering advice and guidance. The planning process was thorough, with material samples to choose from, exchange of ideas, and clear plans. The unit and shelves were delivered and fitted on time, and the place was left clean and tidy. The quality of the finished products is extremely high, and I am absolutely delighted. I would fully recommend Jim if you need logs planking up. They were friendly and efficient and it was great to watch them convert some yew logs into amazing-looking planks. All the wood was stacked where I wanted it and they did a great job of tidying up afterwards

Jim did a brilliant job from start to finish and built us fantastic kitchen units. He involved us in all aspects of the design and worked quickly and was very tidy and helpful. After the installation he contacted us a couple of times to make sure that everything was OK for us. We would definitely recommend Jim and his company.

Jim has recently made us some more custom made cabinets for our study after designing and making some for us 7 years previously.  From the first (re) contact the service from Jim (and Jo) has been first class. During the delays of lockdown in 2020, we were always kept informed regularly of timescales despite circumstances being out of Jim’s hands!

We got just what we wanted!  Arriving at a design we loved for our under-stairs storage was helped enormously by the very professional drawings Jim had drawn up as we refined the idea.  Everything happened when Jim said it would and the result is great!  When we started using it, we realised we wanted a couple of internal shelves, which Jim then added.  Really really pleased!

We would like to say how pleased we are with both the service and the quality of our new bespoke kitchen built and installed by Jim Sharples and his team. We had looked at the kitchens available at a number of the specialist bespoke kitchen showrooms in Clifton but we feel that in using Jim Sharples we have a kitchen which equals or surpasses those that we viewed and at a significant cost saving! Jim came up with some excellent suggestions in terms of design and ideas for finishing touches.
